The Variations Of AdSense PPC Advertising On The Web

February 7th, 2008 by Admin

The Latest Search Engine News indicates that the world of Information Technology is passing through the phases of transition. Whatever is new today becomes old and obsolete after passage of a certain period and the advent of the new technology. Catering to this requirement of the trade, the Search Engines have been developing new methods and technologies to promote their business prospects.

Google, the leading search engine on the web, came up with AdSense for feeds in May 2005. This was a version of the AdSense that uses the RSS and Atom feeds. The Pay Per Click Advertising people place their ads in the appropriate feed articles. Publishers get paid for the original contents. However, the readers only view the relevant ad part. The result is more quality feeds to choose from.

AdSense for feeds technology is basically the insertion of images into a feed. When the images are displayed on the browser, the search engine writes the content of the ad and inserts in the displayed image. The contents are selected on the basis of the feed surrounding the image. On click, the user gets redirected to the advertiser’s website as Business Link On Marketing.

Another program that has been developed side by side is the AdSense for search. It allows the website holders to place search boxes on the search list page. If the user clicks on the search box, revenue is generated for both the search engine and the site owner and it is divided among the two. AdSense has different Website Design as it does not pay for mere searches.
